Lago Vista Lodge is located on beautiful Lake Guerrero, near Cuidad Victoria, in the state of Tamaulipas, Mexico. The lodge lies at the north end of the lake, a short drive from the water depending on lake levels. It’s the ideal setting for a vacation – far from the cares of the world, yet easily accessible. The Lodge offers economy packages with nice accommodations, quality boats and experienced guides.
Upon arrival at Lago Vista, you will be greeted by our English speaking staff who will escort you to your room. We have available single or double occupancy rooms at your request. All rooms equipped with A/C for comfort. Kick back and relax after fishing or hunting in our swimming pool or Jacuzzi. We take pride in serving the finest Southern style and Mexican cuisines. All drinks are included with meals at no extra charge. We have a fully stocked tackle shop with the hottest lures and worm colors. Shirts, caps, sunscreen, & souvenirs.
Delicious Meals
You’ll enjoy a full menu of satisfying meals at our main lodge. We serve a variety of delicious Mexican dishes as well as southern style food, prepared fresh every day. All our food is served family style, just right for those hearty appetites. Complimentary ice cold beer and soft drinks are served during meals and while hunting and fishing. Of course, our water is totally pure.
Affordable Mexico Bass Fishing
At Lago Vista Lodge you will fish on Lake Guerrero where you will glimpse the brilliant plumage of a variety of waterfowl. Or, you try one of the hauntingly beautiful “stump coves”, where the big bass hang out. After the morning fishing, you arrive back at Lago Vista Lodge for lunch followed by a little siesta time before the afternoon activities. Our guides then escort you back on Lake Guerrero for an afternoon of fishing for Trophy Largemouth Bass in Mexico. As the day drifts toward sunset, it’s back to the lodge where you relax on the patio or at the bar sipping an ice cold margarita or cervesa. This is the best time of the day… reflecting on the excitement of the day’s activities. Unforgettable Hunting
North Tamaulipas offers some of the finest bird hunting in North America. The rich farm land dotted with small lakes and streams make a perfect migration and feeding grounds for millions of the finest game birds. From August through February, our area is invaded by white-wing dove, ducks, geese, quail and other challenging game birds. The concentration of these birds at times can be unbelievable.
